7 Months after Treatment World’s Heaviest Women Eman Ahmed Dies in Abu Dhabi

Eman Ahmed who is believed to be the world’s heaviest women gives up to life in Abu Dhabi on a Monday morning at 4.35 am. The women has lost her life due to numerous health issues like the heart disease and the kidney dysfunction. Reports say that she died due to underlying comorbid conditions which did include the heart and kidney dysfunction. She was 37 years old.

Eman had been in the Saifee hospital for about a period of three months during which slowly slowly she lost 250 kilograms. The officials at the Abu Dhabi Burjeel hospital where she was further treated after her release from Saifee hospital Mumbai, said that she had died due to co-morbid conditions including the heart and kidney dysfunctions.

The hospital said that she had been under the supervision of more than 20 doctors from different specialities, and had been managing her medical condition from time to time while she was on the way to UAE. Our prayers and heartfelt condolences to her family.

Eman who was from Alexandria in Egypt came to India in the month of February, and underwent an Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy Surgery, which was performed by a team of well-known doctors and was led by Muffazal Lakdawala. She was 504 Kgs when she was brought to Mumbai in February for a weight loss operation. She lost 200 kgs after her operation. Her departure from India was made under some unfortunate circumstances, where after sister shaima continued to raise doubts on her weight loss and had claimed that the doctors had continued to make false claims towards her treatment.

Doctor Lakdawala to this then confirmed that Eman lowest weight was 171 kgs, and not 200 kgs that was been claimed by her sister. Matters continued to blew up between Eman and the Saifee hospital where the doctors had made it clear to the family that they could not help her further but still her sister had insisted for some treatment.

Her death comes as a shock to all the doctors who had been treating as she was believed to be recovering, and had began to feed herself by mouth using an electrical wheel chair. It was also reported that the doctors had started to work on her speech and voice therapy, where they claimed that Eman had shown some better improvements in her lower limbs which stands as a major sign of her improvement.
