This beautiful and the most talented actress in the Bollywood Industry opened up about her educational qualification at an launch of an veteran actress Hema Malini biography, Hema Malini: Beyond the dream. The actress who is all set to feature herself in the Sanjay Leela Bansali movie Padmavati says Stardom and sacrifice go hand in hand, and an a individual must exhibit enough dedication in order to achieve their goals and objectives.
She says, I have never been to college. I have just managed to finish my 11th and 12th standard, and that too because by then I was into modelling. And while I was living in Bangalore, I even had to go to Mumbai and Delhi a lot of time, Deepika Padukone was quoted as speaking at an event. The 31 year old actress further said, when I tried to do my first year degree I really could not do it. I then tried distance education and I could not even do that as well. So I am just 12th pass and my parents turned out to have a lot of issues by then.
Deepika also spoke about her role in movie Padmavati and said that it has been one of the most memorable role for her throughout her career in the Indian film industry. I do feel extremely fortunate and consider it to be my luck to work with Sanjay Leela Bansali who even today is one of the best directors of the Indian Film Industry. Over the five years and with three consecutive films back to back, I have come across some extremely challenging and empowering roles that he is known to given the women.
The entire experience for the movie Padmavati has been really very exhausting. We had been shooting on regular basis and without any break for a period of eight months. And I personally feel that certain characters that you take up in the films don’t leave you so easily she said.
The movie Padmavati features Shahid Kapoor who is playing the role of Maharawal Ratan Singh, the Rajput ruler and the husband of Rani Padmavati. Ranveer Singh to this will be seen as Alauddin Khilji the sultan of Delhi who falls in love with Rani Padmavati. The movie is believed to release on the 1st of December 2017.
