Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has never failed to impress us, be it through his dramatic transformation for his different characters in the film, or for his out of the box fashion choices.
After the success of the Ram Leela and Bajirao Mastani, all the eyes are now set on Ranveer and Deepika once again for their upcoming film Padmavati. The movie is centred around the life of Rani Padmavati, a role that is being played by Deepika followed by Ranveer who is playing the role of Alauddin Khilji. The movie is also starring Shahid Kapoor who is playing the role of Maharawal Ratan Singh.
After the shoot of the film Padmavati, the actor had seeked for a medical treatment in order to come out of his character. Recently now Ranveer has come forward and expressed his thoughts on Twitter, sharing a photo and captioning it as “Losing My Religion.”
While it could be a reference to the American alternative rock band, viewers are miffed with the words that he used and began to critize him. Some even said that he should not have come forward and told all this publicly, whereas others thought it was reference to a fact that he was still not out of the character that was given to him.
Since the time he came forward and posted it, his tweet garnered more than 600 retweeted followed by 9,900 likes turning to become the most important talk of the Bollywood town. Have a look at his tweet right here

Many then came forward and took his tweet as an offence, and slammed him on the micro blogging site. And others who came out for his defence said that it was just a lyrics of the REM song. However the tweets of the viewers still expressed their displeasure even after knowing that it is just a song. These were some of the words that were not required at least during this time. “Koi baat nahi … Aisa hota hai… Jab itne sanskaar character (Khilji) me 2 saal tak ghuse rahoge toh religion kya insaniyat bhi loose karte jaoge. Koi nahi ghar wapsi hamesha ho sakti hai… Psychiatrist ne kya bola BTW?”

He did it deliberately to get more controversies for the film, not good time for such posts

Common knowledge…it's a song by famous REM and means you're done with things that fed you up. It's not to be taken literally.

These words were not needed at this time. This tweet could have been worded differently.

Meanwhile there were a few tweets that could not stop comparing him with the singer Sonu Nigam.
Every guy will tell you how beautiful you are.
I'm here to tell you It's a lie.

To conclude as you see that most of the above mentioned posts, are related with his upcoming film Padmavati. While we still have a few of them who tried expressing their thoughts that their sentiments were hurt. Many individuals who tried defending Ranveer Singh asked the trollers to take a chill pill, since those three that were used by them turn to come out from a very famous song. However the Trolls still express their displeasure even after knowing that it’s just a song.
