Secret Super Star Movie Review
Happy Diwali to all my readers. The most awaited time of the year is here again. After having Dangal breaking the box office records last year, Aamir Khan is now back to rule the silver screens with his new movie Secret Superstar. The Director of the movie Advait Chandan does not revolve with any kind of Mr Perfectionist, but the entire film with Zaira Wasim who is essaying the protagonist is been presented in his name.
Secret Superstar is a movie that is based on a 15 year old girl who is named as Insia, and has a passion of singing with a wish of ruling the music industry one day. Sadly her conservative father Farook Malik (Portrayed by Raj Arjun) is not at all amused by her hobby. And in order to balance her life Insia begins to have videos of her singing being posted on the social media sites. And how the events unfold next turns out to be really inspirational and motivating.
Firstly the director Advait’s efforts must be given applause for bringing out the story in such a beautiful manner. He as a director has made sure that each and every aspect of the movie gets highlighted with a reasonable amount of the screening time. He has also moulded the screenplay in such a way that in the end, it does not turn to be the story of just one girl, but can relate the story in some way or the other in an individual’s life.
Unlike the other major releases of the Bollywood Industry, this movie continues to stick to its basics. Nothing is over done in the entire film. And I think this is why a subtle pace leads to a right direction in the movie. Also a slice of Aamir Khan Touch towards perfection is visible in the entire plot of the film.
If we talk on the casting of the flick, it will really not be right on our part if we do not give them applause again. Apart from the Zaira breakthrough performances, Meher Ji who played the role of her mother has really done a very good job. Her acting in some parts of the scene will actually bring tears to our eyes. On the other hand we have Raj who played the role of Zaira father has made us believe that he is a violent father making us hate him even in real.
Now let’s come to the main hero of the film Aamir Khan. Though he has a very tiny role to play he is still remained to be the soul of the entire film. Through some flaunting and quirky characters this 52 year old man has really given us some of the best and unforgettable moments that one could actually take home.
The movie no doubt is the best Diwali gift for all his fans and followers. And its an appeal to the audiences of all the age groups to come forward and watch the movie, as being an excellent piece to the Indian cinema the movie has got out various social issues along with the right attitude that is required to deal with it at the same time.
So continue dreaming. Because only when you dream it will help you motivate the others to work hard and achieve their goals and objectives.
