Taking selfies and posting it on social media is a trend nowadays, especially among youngsters. We can see many youths taking selfies at every occasion, whether it is having blast with friends or eating dinner with family at a restaurant. The habit of taking selfies is further encouraged with the increasing quality of smartphones and decreasing prices of these phones. However, this habit of taking selfies has taken some lives as well because sometimes selfies can be dangerous too.

Varun Dhawan’s recent release “Judwaa 2” was a blockbuster and he must be on cloud nine with its success. The flick was a remake of Salman Khan starrer “Judwaa” and the critics have praised Varun for his effortless acting. Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu played the love interest of Varun in the film.

Taking autographs of movie stars is a thing of past as fans now prefer to take selfies with their favourite actors. However, when Varun Dhawan took a selfie with a fan, Mumbai police didn’t like it and they sent an E-challan to him.

Varun Dhawan came out a little from his car window to take a selfie with his female fan but when Mumbai police saw the whole incident, it expressed anger over the actor for risking life of himself as well as other people including that of his fan by taking a selfie in this manner.

Here is the tweet sent by Mumbai police to Varun Dhawan,

“@Varun_dvn These adventures surely work on D silver screen but certainly not on the roads of Mumbai! U have risked ur life,ur admirer’s & few others. V expect better from a responsible Mumbaikar & youth icon like U! An E-Challan is on d way 2 ur home. Next time, V will B harsher”

However, when Varun saw it, he responded immediately and made it clear that during that time, the cars weren’t moving and nobody’s life was at risk. Still he assured that he won’t make such a mistake again. Varun Dhawan tweeted,

“My apologies. Our cars weren’t moving since we were at a traffic signal and I didn’t want to hurt the sentiment of a fan but next time I’ll keep safety in mind and won’t encourage this.”

It seems that Varun needs to control his emotions from next time, whenever on road and be careful about following the traffic rules.
